Seeking Security in False gods
During the December 13, 1993 monthly apparition, the Blessed Mother said, “My children do not know God and they do not pray. My children follow the false gods of this world … Please do not be distracted by the gods of this world.”
False gods are the things we put first in front of God. If we seek security first in the gods of the world such as money, career, power, pleasure, sports, television, material items, etc., then these things take the place that God should have in our lives. Where do we spend our time? How much time do we give to God? Are we placing the gods of the world before the God of all creation?
