Stay Close to My Son and Stand Firm with Him

Nancy said the Blessed Mother was very beautiful and radiant in a white veil and dress as she appeared standing on top of a pillar and moved toward the picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Then Nancy heard, "The ship is going through rough waters." [The Blessed Mother later explained on October 13, 1995 to Nancy that the "ship" signified the Church.] Nancy then saw the mystical figure of the Blessed Mother merge into and through the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Extending above and on the sides of the picture was the Blessed Mother's veil and dress. Nancy then heard, "The ship is going through rough waters. Stay close to my Son and stand firm with Him." After the October 13, 1995 apparition, Nancy shared her reflections about this vision: "... She chose the Sacred Heart of Jesus picture. She seemed to vanish through His heart. She became one with this image. "The heart of the Catholic Church, the heart of our faith is the Mass, the Holy Eucharist, the Heart of Jesus given to us completely. So no matter what waters that we go through we stand firm with God. Not alone, not by our own power but through the strength of God by staying close to Him. "Staying close to Him means for me living in a state of holiness, of grace. It means for me receiving the strength, the very source of life by receiving the Eucharist each day in a state of preparedness, in a state of grace. We need not fear what will or will not come if we do as Our Lady asks, 'Stay close to my Son.'"
