Teach my children the importance of this prayer

Over and Over Our Loving Mother has asked us to pray and sacrifice for peace and the conversion of our sisters and brothers – to make reparation for them. This reparation is connected to achieving peace.

We can be close to God through prayer and sacrifice as individuals and even families. However, when our neighbors, communities and even countries are not converted, they can take away our peace. They can take our property, abuse us or our families, etc. thus taking away our peace. The Blessed Mother has said, “Fighting will increase among nations and there will be great unrest all over the earth.”

Praying and making sacrifices in reparation for our sins and those of our sisters and brothers around the world, can result in them not attacking us and taking away our peace.

Our Lord ask Nancy to teach the importance of the Angel of Peace prayer that was given in 1917 in Fatima, Portugal. How did they maintain peace since Portugal was not in the second world war?

On April 16, 1991, Jesus asked Nancy to put the Angel of Peace’s prayer, “Most Holy Trinity …,” on the back of the Conyers holy card in honor of Our Loving Mother. Jesus said, “Teach My children about My presence in the Tabernacle … Remember, it is My request that this prayer be echoed all over the world … Teach My children the importance of this prayer.”

For Jesus to ask that this prayer be placed on the Conyers holy card which honors Our Loving Mother must mean that this prayer is very important. We should echo this prayer all over the world by living it. We live this prayer through attendance at the Holy Mass, spending time with the Eucharist, and making reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifferences to Jesus and the Blessed Sacrament. By following the example of the Angel of Peace, we can achieve peace in our hearts and in our world.

In a brief encounter, the Angel of Peace appeared to the three children in Fatima in 1916. The Angel of Peace adored the Eucharistic Jesus and gave the children communion as he gave them the prayer. He showed us the way to make the reparation the prayer called for.

Sister Lucia, who was the oldest of the three children, later wrote in “FATIMA in Lucia’s own words” [see Bibliography] of this apparition and of the Angel of Peace’s demonstration of Eucharistic Reparation. She wrote, “We said our Rosary there and the prayer the Angel had taught us at the first apparition. While we were there, the Angel appeared to us for the third time, holding a chalice in his hands, with a host above it from which some drops of blood were falling into the sacred vessel. Leaving the chalice and the host suspended in the air, the Angel prostrated on the ground and repeated this prayer three times:

“‘Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly, and I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world, in reparation for the outrages, sacrilegious and indifference with which He is offended. And through the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart, and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of poor sinners.’

“Then, rising, he once more took the chalice and the host in his hands. He gave the host to me, and to Jacinta and Francisco he gave the contents of the chalice to drink, saying as he did so: ‘Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Repair their crimes and console your God.’ Once again he prostrated on the ground the repeated with us three times more, the same prayer ‘Most Holy Trinity …’, and then disappeared.

“Impelled by the power of the supernatural that enveloped us, we imitated all that the Angel had done, prostrating ourselves on the ground as he did and repeating the prayers that he said. The force of the presence of God was so intense that it absorbed us and almost completely annihilated us. It seemed to deprive us even of the use of our bodily senses for a considerable length of time. During those days, we performed all our exterior actions as though guided by that same supernatural being who was impelling us thereto. The peace and happiness which we felt were great, but wholly interior, for our souls were completely immersed in God. The physical exhaustion that came over us was also great.”

A priest once told Nancy, “You can tell much about where a person’s heart is by how they spend their precious gifts of time and money.” If we are giving our heart to God in love, should we not want to spend time with Him, especially before the Tabernacle? By living the Angel of Peace’s prayer of adoration and communion, we make reparation and unite our hearts to God. Through this Eucharistic Reparation, we too can experience the same peace and joy and happiness of the three young children at Fatima. We can draw down peace on our nation by following the requests of the Angel of Peace at Fatima.
