Tell Others This Story and Invite Them to Let It become Their Story.

While in church praying before the Blessed Sacrament, Nancy had a profound mystical experience. She later wrote about and described what she saw in a vision and heard: "I was walking in a vast desert and on my left side was Blessed Virgin Mary walking with me. About one foot in front of us was Jesus. His robe was a dazzling, glistening white; rays of light were coming from His robe. Our Lady was at my side and we were walking in silence behind Our Lord. Our Lord did not turn around. She stayed at my side and we walked. Jesus was leading and the Blessed Virgin Mary and I were following Him across this desert. "My dearest Mother, Blessed Virgin Mary, was inviting me to come under Her mantle. 'I will shield you from the burning, blowing sand,' She said. Then in a little while, Mary offered to cover me with Her veil, drawing me closer to Her and protecting me from the scorching sun. "As we continued our journey behind Jesus, I noticed that rays of light, strength were coming to us from Jesus. Jesus continued to lead in silence. Mary would speak to me, offering to give me aid. Mary was clearly helping me to stay close to Jesus and She was helping me to stay straight on the path behind Jesus. "We came to a body of water in the desert. Jesus walked on the water. When I reached the water's edge and before I took my first step into the water, Mary picked me up and She carried me. Mary was walking on the water following Jesus and carrying me. Mary said, 'When you grow in faith, you too will walk on water. For now I will carry you.' "We came to the other side and I started walking again with our Blessed Mother still on my left. Jesus was leading and we were following Him. I did not ask where we are going. I never felt a need to ask. It never occurred to me to ask. I just walked in peace with them, Jesus and Mary. There was such a peace and serenity walking behind Jesus. "We came to a big mountain. The mountain was very steep and it had lots of loose stones. As we started to climb the mountain, Mary said, 'Here, let me take your hand. The rocks are loose and slippery.' "I understood that Mary was taking my hand so that I wouldn't get hurt and fall. She took my hand over the more dangerous areas of the climb. The climb was difficult yet I was never alone, never apart from Jesus and Mary. "Jesus walked up what seemed like the most difficult path. Straight up the mountain. There were many temptations on this mountain. I thought, 'It looks like there's an easier way, this way or that way.' "The Mother of God, stayed right behind Her Son and She helped me to do the same. Right when I was ready to fall, She would reach Her hand out. I took Her hand and She prevented me from falling. I could have pushed Her hand away but I probably would have fallen. She was right there to help me. She stayed always following behind Her Son. "We continued to ascend. At one point I became acutely aware that there was no one with me; I never saw any other people. I am here alone with Jesus and Mary. I never did ask, 'Where am I going?' I just followed and I am very thankful for my Mother helping me follow Jesus up this mountain. It made the climb easier. "When we got to the top of the mountain. Jesus vanished. There was a big empty cross there. I was so sad. I thought, 'Oh Mother, You brought me all this way just to get me to this cross.' "I somehow knew that cross was for me. Then I heard a mighty voice say, it was as if the whole heavens opened: 'After your death I will raise you up. I am the Resurrection, the Life and the Truth. Thank My Mother for helping you reach Me. 'No one comes to Me without first coming to the Cross. After death on the Cross, you come to Me. I am Jesus, Son of the Living God. 'Tell others this story and invite them to let it become their story. You see, the story ends with Me. 'Remember, I once said to you: All paths converge into one. I am One with God the Father. The Father is in Me and I am in the Father.'"
