(Message # 222)

The Eighth Commandment

Exodus 20:16
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

(April 27, 1991)

Jesus said to Nancy while in church for Mass, "You are called to bear witness of Me. You are called to bear witness to My living presence. I am the truth. There is no falsehood in Me. My children are all called to imitate Me. Anytime you fail to imitate Me, you fail in My commandment of love. Be truthful. Be humble as I am. Truth heals. Lies injure and harm. I am a healer. You are called to be healers. Learn from Me, be humble in love and truth. There is freedom in truth. Bondage awaits you in lies. Be free and fly or be jailed and tied."
Later the Second Reading during the Mass was from 1 John 3:18-24, "My little children, let us not love in word, nor in tongue, but in deed, and in truth. In this we know that we are of the truth; and in his sight shall persuade our hearts. For if our hearts reprehend us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. Dearly beloved, if our hearts do not reprehend us, we have confidence towards God; and whatsoever we shall ask, we shall receive of him; because we keep his commandments, and do those things which are pleasing in his sight. And this is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ; and love one another, as he hath given commandment unto us. And he that keepeth his commandments, abideth in him, and he in him. And in this we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us."

Jesus later said to Nancy as she was praying before the Blessed Sacrament, "If I allowed everyone to see Me, there would still be those who deny Me. Faith is greater. You die to yourself, then ask for the grace of faith, then signs will have meaning.

"Nancy, you know the truth. When My children walk in darkness, they do not have truth. I am the Truth. I am the Light. You see Me. You see My light. Bring My living presence to My children. Bring My light to them. You are called to bear witness to the truth. You will not be defeated because I will not be defeated. Love, love, love and I will be alive to you. Love, love, love and let My children see My light. My children are afraid to bear witness. Help them, precious one. I am truth and you will speak the truth.

"Man needs to be truthful with himself before Me and with each other. I am truth. If you know Me, then you are truthful. If you lie, how can you say you know Me. My friends are one with Me. A lie does not mix with the truth. You mix dough with like ingredients to make something pleasant tasting. Mix dough with bitter ingredients and it will be bitter, unpleasant."

(January 11, 1992)

When Nancy was rereading the April 27, 1991 message from Jesus on the Eighth Commandment, Jesus added, "Many of My children ask but they do not get what they ask because they do not keep My commandments. Seek My will and keep My commandments and you shall have what you ask. Many of My children are deceived. They think they keep My commandments but they do not. My prideful children are like the Pharisees. They think they are good and they keep all My laws. Many violate My First Commandment. Pride and love do not go hand in hand. Humility and love are joined."

The Way of the Cross
From Jesus to Nancy Fowler at Conyers, Georgia

September 25. 1989

As Nancy was kneeling at the foot of the crucifix in church, she prayed, "Teach me, Oh Lord, how to walk this passion. Let me hear from You what You were experiencing at each station."

FIRST STATION
Jesus is condemned to death by Pilate.

† We adore Thee, O Christ, and we praise Thee,

R: Because by Thy holy cross Thou hast redeemed the world.

† Jesus said, "Think of the times that you were falsely accused, that outright lies were said about you. Think about what the people are saying and see them all together surrounding you. You know the truth but they do not. Now you speak out to relieve some of the internal suffering. I did not. I kept silent."

R: I love Thee, Jesus, my love. I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to offend Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always and surrender my will to Thee completely and then, do with me as Thy will.

Say One - Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be

† Jesus, most obedient, meek and humble of heart. R: Have mercy on us.

SECOND STATION
Jesus accepts the cross.

† We adore Thee, O Christ, and we praise Thee,

R: Because by Thy holy cross Thou hast redeemed the world.

† Jesus said, "Now add the first station to this station and My accepting the cross of suffering from them. I gently and lovingly took the cross from their hands. They gave it to Me with hatred and disbelief in who I am. I was hurt deeply in every way."

THIRD STATION
Jesus falls the first time.

† We adore Thee, O Christ, and we praise Thee,

R: Because by Thy holy cross Thou hast redeemed the world.

† Jesus said, "I fell, Nancy. I fell, the weight of My suffering was too great. I fell, and I got up again. I did not give up. I received strength from My Father as you will."

In the face man reveals his greatest emotions. Yes, in the stone face you see what his heart is like. The face is a reflection of the heart. I reveal My face to those whose hearts are pure."

Look at My eyes; see the love, compassion, the forgiveness, the hope. Never give up. You will be tested many times. Consider it an honor. My precious daughter, always love and forgive. I am where your eyes are. When you are down looking at the ground because of the weight of the cross, I am there looking into your eyes ... so I am down with you to help you get up. How many times will each precious soul bring Me back to the passion? I have shown you there is not much tissue left."

Care for one another. Precious daughter, let Me put My hand on your head. Weep not for Me. Weep for all of mankind. There is a time for everything. Time is My precious gift. When you refuse to give time, you refuse to give My gift. Gifts are meant to be shared. Be not selfish but generous."

All paths converge into one. I am One with the Father. There is One God. As the storm passes, your way will be clear again. Other storms will come and so will they leave. Don't give up in the mist of the storm. Remember all paths converge into one. Remember I will make the way clear for you."

† Jesus said, "Please don't lock Me away in a tomb and think I have died, never to return. If you are experiencing a dark night of the soul, bear it. Think of yourself as being locked in the tomb with Me. Look at how close you are to Me. As I rose out of the darkness of the tomb so shall you. Your soul needs time to be quiet and alone with Me even though you can't feel Me alive. I am closest to you in these moments. Stay with Me. Don't give up. Don't despair. Persist and endure. Light will come into your soul. I will not abandon you to darkness forever. Your soul is experiencing Me even though your senses are not. Remember, your soul is with Me in these times of darkness. You are the one who can't see. Be asleep for a while. Stay with Me, and I will awaken you."
